The mine has operated since 1944 producing coal primarily for domestic power generation, alumina refining and export markets. About the roleLocation: Callide Mine, Biloela, Central Queensland.We are currently seeking an Auto Electrician to join our dynamic and high performing Maintenance Department at Callide Mine. The mine utilises draglines, dozers, excavators, loaders, large truck fleets and coal handling facilities to produce coal for domestic and export customers.Reporting to a Maintenance Supervisor, your key result areas will include having self-pride in your ability to work safely and act as an example to fellow peers on site. This role requires people who have extensive experience in routine maintenance and fault finding on heavy earthmoving equipment.The position will appeal to people who are willing to work together as part of a team to accomplish the tasks at hand, whilst also trusted to work independently at times. Personal attributes will include being accountable for your output and achievements, punctuality and always presenting fit for work. A competitive remuneration package is offered to appeal to candidates of the highest quality. This is a permanent position, working a rotating day/night shift roster.
