About the Role
Our Auto Electrician is to provide auto electrical repairs, maintenance and preventative maintenance to the company's fleet of buses, vessels, resort vehicles and plant and equipment.
The main goal is to keep our fleet fully operational so we can continue to provide all our guests an amazing experience in comfort and safety as they venture around the island and enjoy the beauty of K'gari.
This opportunity is a permanent basis working 76 hours per fortnight based in our Urangan workshop.
Key Role Requirements
Actively follow all Workplace Health & Safety procedures and practices consistent with legislative requirements and regulations.
Provide maintenance and repairs to electrical systems on buses, vehicles, plant & equipment, vessels and a range of different vehicles.
Repair or replace defective wiring in ignition, lighting, air conditioning, and safety control systems.
Test and install electrical equipment such as gauges, lighting, alternators, and starter motors in all fleet vehicle and equipment.
Install electrically operated accessories in all fleet and equipment.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience
Knowledge of mechanical workshop operations and associated equipment.
Hold a current MR licence or able to obtain.
3-5 years' experience.
Extensive air conditioning experience.
Physically fit.
