The Department of Education is currently seeking two highly motivated individuals with strong attention to detail and a passion for meaningful work to support the Southern Metro Area team and the Eastern Metro Area team with the compliance and quality assessment of early education services. This dynamic and rewarding role will allow you the opportunity to promote quality improvement and strive to support centres to deploy best practice outcomes. You will do this by visiting centres and services in your regional area, assessing and monitoring compliance in adherence to the Education and Care Services National Law 2010 (National Law), Victorian Children's Services Act 1996 (Children's Services Act) and Child Safe Standards. Location : This first position works across the South Eastern Victoria Region and is based in the Southern Metro Area team and the second position works across the North Eastern Victoria Region and is based in the Eastern Metro Area team. The roles will involve travel across the Southern Metro Area and the Eastern Metro Area. The roles will at times, include planned overnight stays. The Southern Metro Area team office is based in Dandenong and the Eastern Metro Area team is based in Glen Waverley. About You Suited to someone that thrives on having diverse responsibilities, you will: Have strong attention to detail. Be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with a wide range of groups. Be methodical in approach. Have a willingness to learn. While you will ideally have compliance or investigative experience or experience working in an early learning environment with a deep understanding of the legislations and National Quality Framework, this is preferrable and not essential.
