About the roleThis is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales and business development professional to join Trail Parts as the Australian Sales & Business Development Lead.
Based in Campbellfield, Victoria, this full-time role will be responsible for driving new business growth across VIC, SA, NSW & QLD.
You will play a key part in the company's strategic expansion in the Australian market to gain new customers and nurture existing ones.
What you'll be doing
Achieving sales targets through the development and implementation of our sales strategies.
Develop and execute sales and business development strategies to acquire new clients.
Identify and manage an effective customer contact program to maximise sales growth and key customer relationships across our customer network.
Communicate clearly and concisely, demonstrating an understanding of your clients and prospects.
Meet key professional performance standards and exceed customer expectations regarding service levels: response time, follow-ups, information provision, and complaint resolution and management.
Maintain a professional and positive attitude whilst being committed to our company values, objectives, and culture.
What we're looking for
Ability to operate strategically to develop and implement sales, business development and marketing plans and objectives.
A high level of business acumen, particularly regarding our target market of trailer manufacturers, trailer hire and associated trailer companies.
Sales professionalism to engage prospective clients and influence key stakeholders.
Practical aptitude for technical product knowledge to problem solve.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
Deliberate and effective attention to detail; disciplined, prioritising, and time management.
Demonstrated ability to work with an Executive team in presenting, reporting, and executing strategic plans and solutions to meet business and client challenges.
Strong IT competencies in Microsoft applications, including PowerPoint and Excel and the use of common CRM systems
A commitment to high personal and professional standards and continuous improvement.
Personal passion and commitment to customer service excellence and the opportunity to help customers be successful.
Sense of urgency and energy to maximize emerging sales opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience
Sales and/or sales management experience.
Proven ability to work with distributors and customers and develop relationships.
Experience in the manufacturing, machinery and or ag machinery sales sector.
