About the Commission: The Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission is the national regulator of aged care services funded by the Commonwealth government.
Our purpose is to protect and enhance the safety, health, well-being, and quality of life of aged care consumers.
We do this by approving providers' entry to the aged care system, accrediting, assessing, and monitoring aged care services against requirements, and holding services to account for meeting their obligations.
We also seek to resolve complaints about aged care services.

About the Register: The Commission is seeking talented people with a broad cross-section of skills, experience, and qualifications to register for our Temporary Employment Register (TER).
The TER assists with filling temporary positions across various job families within the Commission.
Non-ongoing opportunities may be offered for an initial period of up to 12 months, with the possibility to extend for a further 6 months.

Flexible working arrangements Health and well-being programs Learning and development support The key duties of the position include: The Temporary Employment Register includes a variety of business areas which may include pathways in complaints, compliance, investigations, assessment and monitoring functions, and other corporate functions as outlined below.

Intake & Complaints Resolution The Intake and Complaints Resolution Group (ICRG) works with people receiving aged care services, their representatives, and service providers to resolve concerns and make positive improvements for people receiving aged care.

Approvals & Serious Incident Notification The Approvals & Serious Incident Notification (ASIN) Group is responsible for assessing approved provider applications, material change notifications, and revocation on request (self-revocation).

Compliance Management The Compliance Management Group (CMG) is responsible for delivering national programs in relation to approved providers' compliance with their prudential responsibilities.

Quality Assessment & Monitoring The Quality Assessment and Monitoring Group (QAMG) delivers on the monitoring and assessment of the providers' performance against the Aged Care Quality Standards and other provider obligations.

Eligibility Requirements: To be eligible for employment with the Commission, applicants must be an Australian citizen at the time an offer of employment is made.
An applicant's suitability for employment will also be assessed through a variety of pre-employment check processes, such as:
Satisfactory completion of a criminal history check.
Completion of a medical declaration and pre-employment medical (where required).
Providing evidence of qualifications (where required).
Obtaining and maintaining a minimum of a baseline security clearance (where required).
