Working with limited direction, in this role you will assist in the implementation of a demand-driven program to assist coastal states in Southeast Asia to manage their marine resources (Marine Resources Initiative - MRI).
The role requires a strong focus on project management to develop and deliver activities, and extensive stakeholder engagement including teleconference and in-person meetings and activities to implement the principles of co-design and provide valuable outcomes for participants.Key ResponsibilitiesUndertake detailed and often sensitive projects that impact on the strategic, political, or operational outcomes for the Australian Government in line with agency goals and objectives.Support engagement with international and domestic stakeholders, maintaining relationships with project funders, implementation partners, and recipients.Contribute to the provision of professional advice on sensitive matters.Work collaboratively with teams based in Australia and overseas including government stakeholders and procured service providers.Communicate effectively, both written and spoken, including formal briefings, letters, and presentations.Represent the Australian Government in a professional manner in regional and international forums.To be successful in the role you will :Contribute to a cross-government coalition to support south-east Asian countries in developing marine conservation programs.Implement plans and timelines for activity delivery and monitor activity progress.#J-18808-Ljbffr
