As an Operations Enabling Officer, you will be a part of a deployable team who provide specialised support to enable ASIS operations across a spectrum of overseas environments.
Operations Enabling Officers play a crucial role in the management of operational and enterprise risk and will bring their previous experiences and skillsets to directly support ASIS operational planning and the execution of complex operations.
Operations Enabling Officers are recruited for their varied backgrounds, existing skillsets, demonstrated judgement, and experience in arduous or complex environments.
Successful applications will then be upskilled with ASIS methodologies to deliver unique support to ASIS activities and provide strategic impact for Australia.
An additional allowance will be provided to successful candidates in recognition of the background and skillsets they bring to the role.
Operations Enabling Officers are required to maintain a high standard of physical fitness.

The key duties of the position include: The following is an overview of key responsibilities and tasks:
Provide support and subject matter expertise in the planning of complex operations Enable ASIS operations Contribute to operational compliance, including risk management Maintain specialist skills and/or currency of qualifications Ensure readiness to deploy overseas at short notice.
Citizenship: To be eligible for engagement, applicants must be Australian citizens.
Security Assessment: The successful applicant will be required to undergo and maintain a high level Security Clearance.
