The Role
This role supports the management of the product schedule and allocation of funds to support the operation and maintenance of the Defence Fuel Network (DFN).
You will be responsible for oversight of the delivery of the Network Sustainment Program that provides safety and maintenance enhancements across DFN.

Additionally, you will manage entitlements across the Defence Fuel Supply Chain, which includes fleet and Defence Fuel Installation equipment across the country.
Finally, you will manage the Fuel Portfolio Product Schedule ensuring effective stakeholder and performance management.

About our Team Fuel Capability Branch's (FCB) has responsibility for operating, maintaining, governing, enhancing and sustaining the Defence Fuel Supply Chain (DFSC) across Australia and globally.
As part of Joint Logistics Command, we are responsible for end to end Defence fuel capability.

This includes:
Fuel supply; Strategic asset management; Engineering services; Key strategic projects outlined in the National Defence Strategy; Fuel and fuel infrastructure specifications standards; Product procurement; Support the transition of military capabilities to renewable energies; Fuel capability; and The DFSC and the Defence Fuel Network (DFN).
As an integrated and geographically dispersed team, our Vision is to safely fuel the force by delivering 0:1:100 - zero loss incidents and injuries, one safe, integrated resilient DFSC, and 100% deliveries in full and on time.
The branch workforce is a blend of APS, ADF, Reservist and contractors.

Our Ideal Candidate Our ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
Strong stakeholder engagement skills; Be able to manage conflict while also having the ability to negotiate and influence outcomes for a desired end outcome; Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to successfully brief Senior Managers; Ability to manage multiple competing priorities; and Strong financial skills including budget allocation and monitoring.
Security Clearance:
Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at "Negative Vetting Level 1".
