ABOUT THE SERVICE DELIVERY OFFICE
The Service Delivery Office (SDO) focuses on delivering quality and valued corporate services to government in the areas of human resources, financial operations and the support of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to enable client agencies to focus on their core business.
The HUB – the SDO's ERP solution is designed to support our clients and integrate functional business processes such as HR, financials, procurement and business intelligence reporting. Being on the HUB platform has positioned the SDO for sustainable growth and consolidation. It allows for systematic controls and achieves transparency in our processes, in line with government objectives and policies. The SDO uses the SAP HANA environment to provide clients with a responsive user interface through the use of Fiori apps and customisable interface to optimise client experience.
The Client, Strategy & Enablement Branch, in the SDO, provides project management, client engagement, and service delivery IT capabilities to our client agencies. The Branch is also responsible for the Parliamentary Expense Management System (PEMS) platform.
The ERP Services Section is responsible for the ongoing maintenance, support and development of the ERP Financial, Human Resource and Business Intelligence Reporting Information system. The Expense8 Administration and support Team provides client support and engagement with suppliers to manage issues and system changes. The team also manages the integration between Expense8 and the ERP ensuring the department's ERP enterprise software and cloud application perform as specified. The team also provides services for regression testing across both projects and business as usual and coordinates UAT.

We are looking for Technical and Support Officers with a passion for learning, who will be highly engaged, motivated, high-level communicators with an eye for detail and very strong team ethic. We are looking to bring in intelligent, creatively thinking people who are interested in the fields of software testing, travel and expense management or supporting the department's ERP systems. This is a great opportunity to have the ability to add a voice and participate in shaping and improving team processes and functions while working on the Departments Travel and Expense Management System (TEMS) and work with ERP SAP innovative products and projects by collaboratively working with functional and development teams.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a dynamic multi-disciplinary team to ensure quality of work while maintaining a professional manner. Ability to understand and be responsive to project and customer needs. Skill to assist in developing and maintaining documentation. Ability to provide status reports on activities and tasks. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with a range of stakeholders to drive business and build the SDO brand. Minimum Requirements Under section 22(8) of the Public Service Act 1999 , employees must be Australian citizens to be employed in the Australian Public Service (APS) unless the Agency Head has agreed otherwise, in writing. Successful applicants will be required to undergo the process to obtain and maintain, or continue to hold the required security clearance level for the role as indicated in the downloadable job pack.
