These strategic Pega Platforms for Home Affairs facilitate the streamlining and automation of repeatable business activities, allowing staff to reallocate their time to perform more valuable tasks.The Section achieves its goals through:The establishment and ongoing management of strategic enterprise-wide platforms for the Department.The delivery of enterprise capability (applications) to support strategic business solutions along with the provision of technical support for the applications and platforms.The promotion of enterprise-wide quality engineering through Pega Best Practice design guidance and Pega Design and Development reviews.The development of internal capability and provision of training and enablement for the Pega community across the Department.Our ideal candidateEnterprise Business Solutions (EBS) Pega Business Analyst and EBS Pega System Developer roles are available. Both roles require working within the EBS Pega delivery team to assist with the development of applications in the EBS Pega Platform and Cloud Pega Platform (CPP), defining requirements, and assisting with workflow design. The key duties of the position include: Duties and responsibilitiesEBS Pega Business AnalystAssists with organising meetings with Managers and Stakeholders to gather and document business processes and requirements.Identify and document business requirements, user stories, and process design in Pega.Understand and apply Pega best practice design standards.Perform design activities to elaborate on business requirements.Assist in the planning and execution of business stakeholder user workshops.Provide guidance and assistance to testers.Assist with the design of workflows that meet operational objectives.EBS Pega System DeveloperUse Pega system capabilities to develop and deliver Pega application components.Undertake regular unit testing on built application units.Work with Pega Business Analyst to validate business requirements.Document and review design approaches with the team. Minimum Requirements To be eligible for the position, you must be an Australian Citizen. The successful candidate will be required to obtain and maintain a Baseline Vetting (AGSVA) security clearance.
