Inclusive, collaborative team culture The Opportunity This role will see you working collaboratively with the operating theatre staff to provide timely sterile products, trays and equipment where needed. This is a critical part of the surgical process and the ability to work efficiently with your team to manage pressing deadlines is crucial.
In this role, you will be responsible for: Carrying out the cleaning, assembly, inspection, wrapping and sterilisation of surgical instruments and medical equipment Ensuring consistency and continuous workflow between the various Operating Theatre areas and CSD Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining the high operational standards of the sterilisation department Skills and Experience To succeed in this role, you will bring proven experience in Clinical Sterilisation services, ideally within a hospital setting.
You will also bring: High attention to detail and accuracy Proven ability for self-direction and ability to work cohesively with a team. Highly Desirable: Qualifications in Sterilisation Services (Cert III) Minimum 2 years' experience within a hospital sterilisation setting Knowledge of safe manual handling. What's in it for you? The Hospital Tamara Private Hospital is a 47-bed acute medical, rehabilitation and advanced surgical hospital situated in Tamworth NSW. The Hospital provides an extensive range of medical and surgical services including a specialist Day Surgery Unit. The theatre complex consists of four operating theatres and one endoscopy room.
