Australian Naval Infrastructure (ANI) is the owner and developer of the Osborne Naval Shipyards, supporting the Commonwealth's Naval Shipbuilding Plan. ANI is responsible for designing, constructing and managing the shipyard infrastructure, including the new Nuclear-Powered Submarine Construction Yard to support the AUKUS program, as well as the operating and maintaining common use facilities.
There is an opportunity for 2 Senior Equipment Engineers to join ANI's Project team in the city office. Reporting to the Equipment Manager, you will provide subject matter expert advice and ongoing project management for the selection, design, installation, commissioning and qualification of specialist industrial manufacturing equipment installed within the Nuclear-Powered Submarine Construction Yard.
In this role, your duties will include:
Ensuring project outcomes are achieved to effectively implement and deliver the end-to-end acquisition of specialist industrial manufacturing equipment for ANI within the NPSCY. Providing subject matter expert advice and ongoing project management for the selection, design, installation, commissioning and qualification of specialist industrial manufacturing equipment. Aligning and integrating specialist industrial manufacturing equipment into complex industrial production environments. Leading the technical input into market engagement and supplier identification process for specialist industrial manufacturing equipment. Leading the technical input into equipment specification development, review and signoff. Providing on-the-job mentoring and support for junior engineering personnel. You will have a minimum of 10 years' experience as an Equipment Engineer / Project Engineer in a project engineering environment, with extensive experience managing multiple stakeholders. You will have strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently, and sound organisational, written and verbal communication skills.
