Delivering services that uniquely integrate recreation with mental health education, on the kids turf and on the kids' terms. Driving thought leadership and best practice in mental health through research and advocacy for young people and their families across Australia. The opportunity: We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate Service Delivery Coordinator to join the AKKF Team on a Full-Time ongoing basis. Reporting to the Head of Service Delivery, the Service Delivery Coordinator will be responsible for the planning and booking of AKKF programs and the coordination of resources on programs. Employees will be expected to contribute knowledge in establishing procedures and achieving consistency in the delivery of programs nationally.
Open to WA, SA, VIC applicants. Responsibilities include: Responsible for the planning of allocated AKKF programs, including Camps, Activity Days, Connect as well as any other identified program and Service Delivery requirements. Ensure that programs developed for delivery remain in alignment with AKKF's clinical practices, policies, procedures, within budget and commercial parameters. Ensure that programs deliver value for money for AKKF. Coordinate resource requirements to ensure smooth and high-quality program delivery, including but not limited to ordering, material/resource preparation, uniform coordination for volunteers, packing for program, unpacking post program, restocking as required. Under the guidance of the Senior Finance Manager, seek favorable commercial terms with suppliers for service delivery-related costs. Seek cost-effective solutions to deliver service delivery requirements that provide AKKF with value for money outcomes e.g. minimise costs through assessing flight times, car rental, accommodation needs, and other external supplier costs. Allocation of Program Leads and Program Supports onto Programs. Liaise with the Service Delivery Planner to ensure Program Leads and Program Supports are rostered onto future programs. Coordinate travel and accommodation as required for Program Leads and Program Supports. Liaise with Head of Service Delivery and Head of Human Resources regarding behaviour or performance concerns of Program Leads and Program Supports. Manage communications with relevant team members to ensure volunteers participating in programs are aware of program requirements and are supported and have a positive experience whilst on programs. Complete reports as required by AKKF, within agreed time frames and to agreed standards. About you: To be successful in this role you will have:
Demonstrated experience working in a similar role, or experience working with and supporting large groups of young people aged between 8-18 years. Demonstrated experience in planning and coordinating recreational programs. Commercial acumen and experience with procurement. Understanding of Work Health and Safety and risk management requirements. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience in working with CRMs or similar IT programs. Project Management qualifications or related experience. Certificate III in Community Services or other associated Mental Health discipline and/or demonstrated industry experience. Maintain a current satisfactory check for working with young people, as per the relevant State/Territory legislation. Maintain a current and satisfactory National Police Check. Maintain a driver's license and have access to own vehicle. Maintain eligibility to work in Australia. Ability and willingness to travel and work before and after hours (including weekends and evenings) as requested. Experience in the Not-for-Profit sector and working with young people.
