About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Legal Team Assistant to support our legal practitioners in our Newcastle office. This role will support our practitioners in the delivery of workplace relations legal and consulting services in a broad range of interesting matters.
Whilst the reality of each day will be different, you can expect to be accountable for:
Accurately preparing correspondence, engagement letters and other documents as required including document control Supporting the preparation of briefs and undertake dictation transcripts as required Supporting advisors as required including, diary management, meeting agendas and minutes plus coordinate travel requests Undertaking records management, data entry and reporting Assisting with preparation, formatting and filing of enterprise agreements and tribunal/court documents Supporting the end-of-month billing and debtor management processes To best succeed in this role you will have;
Previous experience as a legal administrative assistant or secretary, including experience in invoicing and managing files A high attention to detail and proven ability to produce quality work Advanced Microsoft Suite skills, especially MS Word and MS PowerPoint Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across a range of internal and external stakeholders Strong time management and able to work to deadlines An alignment to the AI Group values of being curious, collaborative and caring We offer you:
