CHC has a current opportunity for a bright, enthusiastic team member to join our Karratha base as a Ramp Assistant on a fixed term basis until 30 June 2026. Reporting to the Base Manager, the position will ensure the efficient, secure and cost-effective operation of all ramps related duties at the base.
Responsibilities: Adhere to corporate CHC Health, Safety and Environment & Quality Policy and all other company policies Preparation of aircraft cabin prior to flight and after flights Baggage and freight handling/loading of aircraft Provide assistance to Operations with passenger life vests, briefings, passenger escorting/loading Provide assistance to engineers on aircraft departures and arrivals Maintain housekeeping, cleanliness and safety standards within the Base hangar Carry out forklift duties as required (forklift licence required) Refuelling of aircraft - including rotors running refuelling To be successful in this role you will require the following: An ability to obtain and hold an ASIC card Strong organisational and time management skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills The ability to work autonomously and under supervision The ability to work in a small team Possess a positive and can-do attitude approach Aviation related operational experience or experience in a similar role will be viewed favourably.
