Following the decision by the Australian Government to acquire UH-60M Black Hawk helicopters from the US Government, Lockheed Martin Australia has established a core team of experienced military Rotary Wing professionals to support the initial procurement and ongoing sustainment activities.
The modern-day, 3rd Generation UH-60M Black Hawk helicopter is the world's leading multi-role battlefield and special operations helicopter with a proven legacy of exceptional capability and reliability.

As an UH-60M Avionics Instructor, you are responsible for delivering comprehensive training and instruction to military and contractor personnel on the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of aircraft systems specific to the UH-60M Black Hawk helicopter.
Your key responsibilities include:
Instruction & training delivery.
Developing and delivering detailed training programs and lesson plans covering all aspects of UH-60M.
Technical expertise & support.
Serve as a technical resource for students & other instructors, staying current with the latest technological advancements and updates in UH-60M systems.
Providing expert guidance on troubleshooting and resolving complex avionics issues.
Compliance & Safety.
Ensuring all training activities comply with military regulations, safety standards, and QA requirements.
Documentation & reporting.
Maintaining accurate training records, student progress, and certification statuses.
Prepare and submit detailed reports on training outcomes including recommendations for program improvements.
About you:
To be successful you will fulfill the following requirements:
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
Intermediate level experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Proven work experience as a Trainer.
Demonstrated experience in courseware design and review.
Extensive knowledge of instructional design theory and implementation.
Extensive knowledge of DASR 147 / 66.
Special Requirements:
Applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance and employment may be contingent on the provision of further personal information including citizenship to ensure compliance with international export control legislation and regulations.
The location of the role will be at Oakey, QLD.
