The Information Services Division (ISD) delivers ICT services through a shared services model to the Australian Parliament House (APH) and over 5000 parliamentary staff. This includes supporting the ICT needs of all parliamentarians, their staff, and parliamentary offices across Australia. ISD also provides ICT services to other parliamentary departments: the Department of the Senate, the Department of the House of Representatives, the Parliamentary Budget Office, and the Parliamentary Workplace Support Service.
Position Overview The ISD Sourcing Manager will lead and manage procurement services across the ISD, working closely with the central procurement team to implement strategies that achieve value-for-money outcomes. In a collaborative environment, you will provide expert advice on best practice procurement processes to meet business needs and align with government procurement directives, while fostering high engagement and commitment among diverse stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities Manage key stakeholder relationships within DPS. Undertake complex work under broad direction. Exercise a high degree of independence in decision-making. Engage in complex problem-solving and issue management. Handle detailed or sensitive projects impacting strategic, political, or operational outcomes for DPS. Qualifications Our ideal candidate will have:
Experience in undertaking high-level analytical and problem-solving work with a high level of complexity and sensitivity. Knowledge of legislative frameworks, standards, and Government processes relating to procurement and contract management.
