Senior Director Commercial and Contracts
Full-time Temporary Details: Do you love Light Rail and have contract management experience? This might be the job for you!
The Senior Director Commercial and Contracts is responsible for leading a small team to deliver contract management, commercial negotiations and assurance of Canberra Metro's performance and delivery under the Public Private Partnership (PPP) Project Agreement. The Senior Director Commercial and Contracts supports the Executive Branch Manager Light Rail Operations by providing advice and leadership on commercial, contractual, and financial elements of light rail operations.
To be successful, you will possess exceptional interpersonal, organisational and communication skills necessary to build rapport and work collaboratively and respectfully with a diverse range of stakeholders, in addition to demonstrated experience in contracts/project management. Eligibility/Other Requirements: Post graduate qualifications or higher education in project management or law with a focus on commercial or infrastructure performance-based contracts is highly desirable. This position may require a pre-employment Rail Worker Health Assessment Category 3 prior to engagement. The incumbent in this position may be required to participate in drug and/or alcohol testing in accordance with Rail Safety National Law as part of Canberra Metro's safety requirements. Experience in a transport or infrastructure environment is highly desirable. The successful candidate will be required to undergo a criminal record check.
