Assistant Director, Stormwater Harvesting
Full-time Temporary Details: Do you want to make a positive difference to the way Canberra sustainably manages stormwater reuse? Roads ACT is seeking a motivated, dedicated and high performing Asset Manager to work in the Environment and Utilities team to deliver exceptional stormwater reuse services.
This position is responsible for management of TCCS's stormwater harvesting network – the Inner North Recticulation Network (INRN). The role includes understanding and taking a leadership role in the planning, creation, operation, and maintenance of the INRN. The person in the role will lead operation of the regulated utility to ensure it is economically, environmentally, and socially sustainable and complies with regulations.
You will join a team of highly experienced officers who work collaboratively and responsively to deliver Asset Management Services. Eligibility/Other Requirements:
Visa holders are eligible to apply for both permanent and temporary roles. Those with eligible visas may be considered for permanent employment, while individuals with temporary residency or limited-duration visas may be offered permanent employment for the duration of their visas. Tertiary qualifications in civil engineering and/or related technical disciplines is highly desirable. Experience working on construction sites is desirable. Relevant stormwater harvesting industry experience is highly desirable. Procurement, project management/contract management skills are highly desirable. This position does require a pre-employment medical. This position does not require a Working with Vulnerable People Check. Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately for six months with the possibility of extension up to 12 months. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only.
