Details: Do you enjoy a challenge and want to be part of a high performing team that tackles complex tax, revenue and concession policy issues head on?
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person with a strong skill set to join our Revenue and Concessions Policy team in Treasury.
As an Assistant Director of the team, you will contribute to the wellbeing of Canberrans through your advice on a range of projects and policy proposals, including concessions, ACT tax reform agenda, and housing affordability.

Eligibility/Other Requirements: The following qualifications are highly desirable:
Economics or a relevant tertiary degree qualification in a similar field; Experience in R or similar statistical software. Notes: This is a temporary position available from 13 January 2025 until 30 June 2025 with the possibility of extension up to 12 months. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
Selection may be based on application and referee reports only. Please note, this position will be moving to a new workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk.
