This is a remote position based in either Sydney, Melbourne or nearby areas.

About the roleWe provide Professional Services in the form of Engineering Consulting Services, and Software as a Service.
This role will entail increasing Lutra's brand awareness and uptake of these services across Australia.
As our new Business Development Manager, you'll be our first feet on the ground in Australia, and the driving force behind Lutra's success in this market.
You'll identify new business opportunities within our industry, forge strategic relationships and partnerships, and showcase our value proposition to potential customers.
Your tasks will include:
Engaging Strategic Partners: Enhance our reputation by engaging with key clients, specifically municipal and government agencies, larger trade clients.Identifying Prospects and Proposing Solutions: Your role would be identifying potential clients and opportunities who could benefit from our services.
You'll propose tailored solutions to these prospects to help reveal Lutra's value to them.Delivering Quality Presentations: Provide high-quality sales presentations, demos, and proposals that educate our clients on our entire offering suite.Collaborate with Teams: Work with our Professional Services and Software as a Service Teams to strategically target the most appropriate sales, while working with our Leadership Team on setting the company strategy and direction.Leveraging Networks: Use and grow your networks to develop relationships and identify growth opportunities within our industry.What will you bring?3+ years' experience in a similar role and a proven track record of success.
Experience selling into municipal and governmental environments, and an understanding of software sales via SaaS.
You'll be confident working alone and have prior market development experience.
