The Role
Produce and create content that will engage and attract new audiences across multiple platforms for ABC Radio, Brisbane.
You will work collaboratively with colleagues and share local content across the ABC.
The Job
Under direction of the Content Director, you will:
Provide in-studio radio production support and manage talk-back callers and guests.
Contribute to the implementation of the Local Emergency Coverage plan and communicate with relevant stakeholders as required.
Create compelling local broadcast, social media and online content.
About You
You'll be curious, love a deadline and be exceptional at producing compelling stories that resonate with a diverse audience.
You'll have:
Accomplished program making skills with a proven ability to develop and make original and engaging audio and cross-platform content for target audience.
Accomplished editorial skills including experience working as a journalist, the ability to source and analyse information, and a developing competence to exercise sound judgement and decision making in a fast-paced news environment.
Highly motivated and creative.
Great at filing to social media.
