Are you passionate about delivering high-quality administrative support while also getting involved in marketing and event coordination? Launceston Airport is looking for an organised and proactive Administration & Marketing Assistant to join our dynamic team.
As an Administration & Marketing Assistant, you'll not only manage day-to-day office operations but also play a key role in supporting our marketing and communications team. Alongside ensuring the smooth operation of our office and providing backup support for reception services, this exciting role allows you the opportunity to assist in coordinating events, managing internal communications, and contributing to our marketing efforts. This is a part-time 3 day per week role.
Key responsibilities: Providing administrative support across various Launceston Airport departments. Managing internal communications and assisting with content creation for newsletters and updates. Providing administrative assistance for marketing initiatives, such as preparing communications, coordinating events, and managing external displays. Assisting with the organisation and execution of internal and external events, ensuring smooth setup and operation. Collaborating with the marketing and communications team to manage internal news updates, compile content for newsletters, and handle sponsor coordination. Supporting general office duties such as meeting room setup, catering, and office supplies. The successful candidate will have: Previous experience in an administration role, ideally with exposure to marketing or event coordination. Strong organisational, communication, and time management skills. A proactive, flexible attitude with a passion for both customer service and creative tasks. A passion for customer service. Certificate in Business Administration, Marketing, or similar is advantageous. Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
