About the Role Stimulating and rewarding work with reach and impact across Risk Opportunities to learn, grow and develop The Manager Retail Models is responsible for representing the business throughout the model life cycle of capital and decision models used across the Retail Consumer portfolios.
This role requires an individual with strong analytical skills, sound understanding of credit risk and modelling principles, and an ability to collaborate with a range of business partners.

Role Type: 12 month Opportunity, Full time
What will your day look like?
Key responsibilities:
Supporting model development projects from data sourcing, development, approval and implementation Representing the business in all model risk management activities Providing expertise to risk, pricing and other stakeholders regarding impacts to capital and profitability of business strategy changes What will you bring?
Qualifications:
5 years experience in retail credit models (development/validation/implementation) Quantitative degree in statistics, actuarial, econometrics, mathematics, physics, engineering or related field Ability to maintain high standards of accuracy and work under pressure to achieve deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and leadership abilities Sound understanding of credit scoring, capital models and credit risk Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g.
SAS, SQL, Python, R, BigQuery) You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
