Currently they are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer in their Orange NSW offices.
The Opportunity
Your role responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks including the development and design of mechanical systems, solutions, and components.
You will engage in cost estimation, preparation of quotes and proposals, as well as workload planning and variation management.
Creating detailed engineering drawings and specifications will be a key part of your duties.
Additionally, you will perform calculations and simulations to ensure that all designs adhere to performance and Australian engineering and safety standards.
Collaboration will be vital as you work with clients and cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical designs with other engineering disciplines.
You will conduct testing and validation of both prototypes and final products, providing technical support and guidance to clients and team members.
Keeping abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies will also be crucial in this dynamic role.
You
Tertiary qualifications in mechanical engineering, structural engineering or a similar / related field.
Proven experience in mechanical / industrial / structural design and engineering.
A genuine passion for solving complex problems and delivering high-quality results.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Hands-on, results oriented, strong work ethic and a real team player!
Administration, prioritization and time management skills.
Proficiency in CAD & engineering design / testing software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Venta, Solid Edge, FEA analysis, Spare Gass, Strand 7).
