We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer from a marine/civil background to assist on projects in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. The projects consist of jetties, wharves, bulk loading facilities, reclamation, and navigation aids. You will play a key role in our success by leading site-based project engineering including; technical assessments & methodologies, project planning, quality assurance, finances, and liaising with the senior representatives of our clients.
Your main duties will include (but are not limited to): Lead projects from planning to execution, ensuring quality and timely delivery, Collaborate with stakeholders to tackle complex challenges and drive success, Work closely with the onsite project team including Project Managers, Project Superintendent, Supervisors, and specialist crew, Liaise and brief subcontractors on construction plans and delegate responsibilities, Review tender documents and preliminary designs for alternative solutions, Prepare cash flow budgets and reconciliations, Proactively provide input in support of the company in its maintenance of a safe workplace, Manage information and conduct appropriate monitoring and reporting duties. You will have: Preferably a minimum of 7 years' experience in a similar site-based role with experience in delivery of marine/civil projects, Tertiary Qualifications in Civil Engineering, Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications, Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, and a genuine concern for health, safety, and the environment, Developed analytical and problem-solving skills while adhering to deadlines, Team player mindset with the ability to develop strong internal and external relationships, Competent in the use of planning software such as MS Project or P6.
