The RoleWe are seeking a skilled Cook to oversee our restaurant's kitchen, managing team members, deciding on dishes, and adjusting orders to meet guests' requests.
This role requires a competent individual capable of supervising the kitchen and ensuring all kitchen-related operations run smoothly in a fully functioning, clean, and organised environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesSet up workstations with required ingredients and cooking equipment;Conduct regular cleaning and maintenance checks to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations;Inspect raw materials and accurately measure ingredients;Follow recipes and instructions to prepare high-quality dishes;Regulate oven temperatures and maintain equipment cleanliness;Promote food safety and hygiene practices throughout the kitchen;Maintain accurate records of food preparation and storage;RequirementsAQF Certificate III or IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3);At least three years of relevant experience as a Cook;Excellent planning and menu creation skills;Ability to manage kitchen staff and maintain quality control standards;Proven track record of upholding health and safety requirements.What We OfferAn attractive salary range of $73,150 - $75,000.
