This opportunity will give you the chance to lead a new team and work closely with the Manager, Asset Management to achieve success in a dynamic and expanding field.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive suite of owner requirements. This role will also play an important role enabling relevant lessons learned from our projects to be embedded into these owner requirements and asset management strategies.

As the Go-To function for our development and delivery teams, you will significantly shape growth opportunities in areas such as Victorian transmission infrastructure connections, mega-scale battery energy storage systems, and interstate transmission infrastructure expansions.
With a hybrid split (Office/WFH), this role is based in Southbank, Melbourne and is part of the Asset Management Team.
This role will deliver real outcomes, including but not limited to:

Develop the Asset Integration Strategy and supporting processes. Coordinate asset management, operations, maintenance and contract management inputs across the project lifecycle. Manage new assets during the asset integration phase (commissioning to 18-24 months of early operations). Manage a mixed team of owners and integration engineers in projects, either directly or indirectly. Contribute to the development of a fit-for-purpose management system for contestable assets. Contribute to a learning culture, through sharing of insights and lessons learned. Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. You don't need to check every box; however, we are looking for a good combination of:
Tertiary qualification in electrical/electronic engineering is required. Extensive experience within the electricity industry. Comprehensive experience in asset owning organisations across asset management, operations and incident management. Significant experience in Asset Management. People management experience is highly regarded. Commercial acumen, demonstrated ability to operate from a contestable context. Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with cross business stakeholders, able to build trust and buy-in. Experience in the use of SAP or similar ERP systems well regarded. A real place to belong
We celebrate unique voices, refreshing perspectives and diversity in our team. Engage and connect through our social club, family day, wide range of events or by joining one of our Employee Network Groups.
We believe in more than just competitive pay. Here's what sets us apart:
Flexibility : whether this is hybrid work, flexible hours, or part-time arrangements, we'll work with you to help balance work and life. Leave : more than typical personal leave and a generous 14 weeks of paid parental leave, with no minimum service. Community giving : a paid day to volunteer with our social impact partner, Foodbank, or for a cause that matters to you. Perks : we offer all the other perks you've come to expect like purchased leave, income protection insurance, novated leasing, corporate discounts, private health cover discounts and more.
