Your new role
This dynamic and impactful role places you at the heart of Board and Committee operations, where you'll coordinate calendars, schedules and meetings, ensuring seamless planning and high-quality execution.
Supporting the Company Secretary and Deputy Company Secretary, your role is pivotal in the team's preparation and circulation of meeting papers through Diligent Boardbooks, while maintaining comprehensive records of meetings, decisions and action items.
Take ownership of maintaining statutory books, including registers of owners, Directors, and Officers and ensuring timely and accurate statutory filings with ASIC.
By administering the Corporate Governance Framework, you will ensure vital governance documents like Board Policies and Charters remain updated and accessible.
Acting as the go-to liaison for a broad range of stakeholders, you'll facilitate effective communication and collaboration while supporting statutory records for audit inquiries.
You will provide invaluable Company Secretariat support, preparing reports and materials for meetings and events, and assisting in tracking and monitoring action items to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
As an administrator for the Diligent portal, you will keep processes streamlined and efficient.
Beyond maintaining systems, your role is pivotal in proactively innovating and enhancing Company Secretariat procedures for continuous improvement.
You will support the onboarding of new Board and Committee members, creating seamless orientation experiences and maintaining essential resources in the Diligent Resource Centre.
You'll also contribute to Ausgrid's compliance with legislative requirements, ensuring best practices are upheld at every step.
Additionally, you will coordinate logistics for Board and Committee meetings and events, from standing meetings to offsites, managing venues and coordinating Ausgrid sites, catering and other logistics to deliver exceptional experiences.

Your maturity and ability to build and manage relationships will be complemented by your capacity to handle confidential information with absolute trust and discretion, a key aspect of this position.
