Senior Farm Hand/Farm Hand - Aurora Dairies Full-time Candidates without full long term Australian working rights will not be considered for this role, including those on working holiday visas. What Aurora Dairies can offer you Aurora Dairies are currently seeking a Senior Farm Hand or Farm Hand for a dairy farm in Mount Schank, located 20 minutes from Mt Gambier in Southeast South Australia. The farm is approximately 312ha in total with 201ha under pivot irrigation.
Currently milking 850 cows, through a 60 bail fully automated rotary shed with ACR's, auto teat spray and GEA dairy plan computer program for herd records and in-shed feeding. The farm is predominantly pasture based with grain fed in the dairy. This farm is 50% Spring and 50% Autumn calving starting in August and February.

All aspects of milking. Pasture management. Machinery operation. Repairs and maintenance. The desired skills and experience for this opportunity are: Past dairy industry experience is highly desirable for this position, but we may consider inexperienced applicants with the right attitude at Farm Hand level.
