About Aurora Dairies
Aurora Dairies is currently seeking multiple Senior Dairy Cattle Farm Workers - Senior Farm Hands in the Mt Gambier region of South Australia. Aurora Dairies is committed to a long-term investment in the Australian Dairy Industry and operates a portfolio of 56 dairy farms; 49 across south-eastern Australia, as well as 7 dairy farms in New Zealand.
Aurora relies on local expertise to operate and improve the productivity of its dairy farms by employing and developing great people, investing in technology, farm development strategies, and supporting infrastructure. The farms are located in the towns of Tantanoola, Eight Mile Creek, Kongorong, and Mount Schank.
The successful candidates will have a passion for the dairy industry and experience in assisting the management team in managing a dairy operation. They will have demonstrated skills and experience in the following areas:
Driving and upholding Animal Health and Safe Operating Procedures Animal Health and Record Management All aspects of milking and general farm duties Feeding of cattle and feeding plans Pasture Management Machinery operation Repairs and Maintenance Supervising work routines and staff performance for farm hands Desired skills and experience for this opportunity are:
Minimum 3 years of dairy industry experience Certificate III or relevant equivalent Committed to ensuring a safe workplace Reliable and punctual Good work ethic and positive attitude Team player This is an excellent career opportunity offering a highly competitive salary and other benefits.
