Ideally positioned opposite Robina Public Hospital, Robina Private Hospital on the Gold Coast is the first and only private hospital to locate within the Robina Health Precinct and within close proximity to the precinct's existing, extensive public services. Robina Private Hospital is a 90 bed private hospital with three specialist mental health and rehabilitation wards along with consultancy, outpatient, mental health and day rehabilitation programs and day surgery services.
We are accepting expressions of interest for a permanent part-time experienced Clinical Nurse who prides themselves on providing high standards of care with a professional and positive attitude, with the ability to lead nursing teams in our general adult mental health and alcohol and other drugs ward.
Minimum Requirements: Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse Minimum of 3 years' clinical experience Previous experience in mental health services Ability to mentor staff and lead nursing teams in a calm, professional manner Proven problem-solving and de-escalation skills Solutions-focused and desire to contribute to a positive workplace culture Analytical skills to assess and evaluate health information to provide quality patient care Demonstrated application of evidence-based practice and critical thinking to patient care Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently as well as in a team displaying a 'can do' attitude Proven commitment to professional development and quality improvement Open, honest approach with the ability to maintain confidentiality Must have a high level of documentation understanding and compliance and be able to perform audits Must provide a National Police check within the past 3 months Proof of immunisation against vaccine-preventable disease (PVD) and TGA approved COVID-19 vaccination Experience working with patients with General Adult Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs Completion of a recognised Graduate Nurse Program, a specialist clinical qualification or ongoing education All enquiries and written applications (including current resume and cover letter addressing essential criteria) to: Karren Martin, Director Of Nursing.
