About the role
We are seeking applications for Administration Officers to join the team at Westmead Rehabilitation Hospital.
Our well-established hospital incorporates 65 rehabilitation beds, hydrotherapy pool, and gyms.
The Administration Officer provides frontline comprehensive customer service to both internal and external customers, administrative support to the Clinical Unit and Programs, plus performs a wide range of administrative support tasks to assist and ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the Administrative Team and Clinical Unit.
Key Responsibilities

Greeting and directing new patients and visitors
Managing phone and email enquiries
Admission and Discharge of Patients
Completion of patient paperwork
Written estimates and quotes
High level of communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a high-pressure environment
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to show initiative
Excellent Microsoft Office and accurate data entry into required software systems
Willingness to learn and the ability to prioritise tasks
Available to work Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
Certificate in Business Administration, Medical Terminology, Medical Administration or equivalent
Previous experience in a Hospital Environment or Medical Administration role
Experience in the Hospitals Patient Information System – WebPAS
Medical Terminology Knowledge
