About the role: We have an opportunity for a Plumber/Gas Fitter to join our team on an 8/6 day shift roster. This position is responsible for undertaking plumbing work and gas fitting for our accommodation village requirements, smooth and efficient functioning of the RO water treatment plant, waste-water treatment plant and supporting our village maintenance team as directed.
Duties include but are not limited to the planning/design/install/maintenance of plumbing systems, pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, and fixtures such as sinks and toilets, installing fire hydrant and hose reel systems, connecting irrigation systems, and other physical/manual labouring tasks including use of hand tools, small plant and equipment.
About you: Physically fit, you will be a motivated individual with previous plumbing experience within the mining industry, have experience working on MAK Water wastewater treatment and RO plants and enjoy a varied and dynamic role.
