How will your ideas contribute to shaping what's next? Due to key projects and an ongoing workload, we are seeking a Senior Rolling Stock Engineer to join our Perth Rail and Mass Transit team to work on rail projects across passenger and heavy haul. Performing a key role within the Rail team, you will contribute to building of the Rolling Stock capability in Perth as well as across Australia and New Zealand. You will join a large, diverse, and highly skilled team in Western Australia, helping our clients 'bring ideas to life.' Introduce new traction solutions to optimise energy consumption and reduce carbon emissions. Implement the latest cutting-edge digital technology to increase the capacity and safety of their operations. Streamline the certification process of zero emissions rolling stock. Maintain client's assets efficiently while providing the highest standards of service. What are we looking for from you? In addition to your experience in a similar engineering role as a Senior Rolling Stock Engineer, you will also have: An engineering qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics (all degrees considered). Demonstrated success in working as part of a team through all phases of complex projects, from pursuing an opportunity to project delivery. Exceptional communication skills to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. Significant experience in the design and modification of advanced rolling stock systems. Strong experience in the integration of signalling and communications equipment onboard. Experience in testing & commissioning of new rolling stock and signalling systems. Development and management of rolling stock maintenance strategies to optimise performance.
