What's the job?We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Sydney Buildings business, where you will play a pivotal role in changing the way we design and deliver major works to be carbon neutral and sustainable.Your role will include:Working on the electrical systems design for data centres across the NSW region and wider Australia.Applying your local industry experience to solving our clients' problems.Turning analyses and preliminary design ideas into developed designs suitable for tender and construction.Communicating effectively with internal & external stakeholders using a range of methods, including written analyses and reports.Bringing your client-centric focus to deliver outstanding client service, stakeholder engagement, and developing new business using your existing industry networks.As a Senior engineer, you will have the opportunity to develop deep professional relationships with your clients as we strive to provide exceptional service and negotiate repeat work for our chosen clients.
You will interact and collaborate with our multidisciplinary teams across Australia, including our Centre of Excellences located in Singapore and Vietnam, as we work with our clients to understand their objectives and vision, and work together to achieve their goals.Your diverse background and strength in engineering design mean that you will be comfortable bringing your technical expertise to a range of projects across the sectors we operate in.
As an important team member, you will be involved in design & advisory tasks, attend workshops and client meetings, and increase your skills and knowledge through direct supervision and self-learning.We are currently engaged in numerous landmark projects in the transport, communications, defence, corrections, health, sports and entertainment, and commercial sectors.What are we looking for from you?You will have a genuine passion for re-imagining engineering solutions.

We look for people who have had a broad range of experiences throughout their career and can demonstrate how they have worked as part of a diverse team to bring ideas to life.The ideal candidate will possess the following:At least 5 years of experience with electrical engineering design projects such as data centres, transport, and defence-related projects.A tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering.Previous exposure to data centre, transport, and defence-related projects.The following is not required, and will be viewed favourably in your application:Professional development in pathway certifications such as CCNA, BSICI RCDD, Security Risk Management, Security Science, etc.We know today's complex challenges can only be solved through bringing together diverse teams of people from across our business, so there will be opportunities for you to apply your skills and creativity to projects in other geographies and markets.What's in it for me?You really can bring your whole self to work and be confident that your voice will be heard.
