This team is crucial to our business. They work closely with Risk and Compliance to assess internal risk management and compliance processes, and to make sure they're running efficiently. Audit, Risk, and Compliance are an unstoppable trio at the front line of evaluating whether the business is on a safe footing, working across functions, products, and regions to build the best possible infrastructure.We're looking for an Internal Auditor to join the Internal Audit team in Mexico. Reporting directly to the Lead Internal Auditor, you'll be responsible for assessing technology and cybersecurity risks and controls. You'll verify that the technological infrastructure and systems that support the internal processes and operations of Revolut are adequate, highlighting any gaps in the control framework or areas for improvement, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and best industry practices.What you'll be doingDeveloping IT and cybersecurity audit procedures and methodologies to reviewDefining scope of reviews and the Internal Audit Plan for IT and cybersecurityAnalyzing the alignment of IT plans, infrastructure, and systems to business objectives, identifying risks and controlsConducting audit reviews, which include risk analysis, testing, and data analysis, based on regulatory requirements, best practices, and Global Internal Audit policiesPlanning and executing Internal Audit reviews periodically, based on the Internal Audit Plan and regulatory requirementsIdentifying the root cause of issues, regulatory gaps, and areas for improvement for IT infrastructure, management, security, and third party IT servicesMaking recommendations and presenting results to key stakeholders, including Lead Internal Auditor in Mexico, Local Internal Audit Committee, and the global teamReviewing audit results and coordinating management actionsFollowing up on corrective actionsWhat you'll needA bachelor's or master's degree in information technology, computer systems, or similar4+ years of experience working as IT auditor, IT consultant, or IT supervisor assessing technology, cybersecurity, and operational risks and controlsExperience in data privacy and in assessing overall IT controlsRelevant experience in financial services, such as a bank, fintech, or technology-oriented financial institutionExperience in SPEI auditsKnowledge of main technology standards, such as COBIT, ITIL, and ISOFamiliar with IT regulatory framework for financial institutionsFluency in English skills with excellent communication skillsA logical, analytical mind with expertise in data analysisTo be open to a hybrid style of work, as this position will require you to go to the office 3 times/weekNice to haveRelevant certifications as an IT auditor (CIA, CISSP, EMV, and/or PCI)Building a global financial super app isn't enough.
