An organically growing business who are challenging the Big 4 and other businesses with its service offering, they have grown their audit client listing and require a Senior to come onboard.
The Opportunity Audit Seniors are leaders within the office and on-site managing and conducting the audit process for a range of companies with varied size, complexities and structures.
Reporting to Managers and Partners, the successful candidate will organise junior audit staffs workflow as well as being actively involved in the audit process.
Your main responsibilities will include: Conducting various audit engagements simultaneously with numerous engagement team members per audit; Performing debtor collection, cost management and billing functions, assisting with planning, execution and scheduling staff; Preparing financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards and preparing reports and opinions to management; Assisting with management and co-ordination of the audit team including training, mentoring and methodology compliance.
The Successful Applicant Key requirements for this role are: Completion of CA/CPA Qualification or on final subject; 3+ years' experience within a similar position, Big 4 experience is highly desirable; Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team; Ability to assist in the management of a client portfolio to ensure all client needs are dealt with on a timely basis; and Demonstrated problem solving and decision making skills.
