Your new company This State Government Department specialises in providing timely and relevant information to Parliament through audits, reviews and examinations of local and state government agencies. With a strong commitment to upholding regulatory and professional standards, this department plays a crucial role in promoting the efficiency and economy of public sector resource utilisation. As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of public sector financial statements and engage in extended reviews that address important issues within the public sector.
Your new role We are seeking Auditors across several levels from graduate to highly experienced. There are multiple positions on offer from ASO3 to ASO6 level. This is a great opportunity to register your interest in joining the largest external audit organisation in South Australia.
What you'll need to succeed To be considered for the role, you will have:
Bachelor degree (recognised in Australia) in accounting or commerce (majoring in accounting), or a related field Your degree must meet the requirements for entry into the professional accounting program offered by CPA Australia or Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (through their accredited tertiary degree entry pathways) Proved experience working in internal or external audit A valid National Police Clearance Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with complex financial data Solid understanding of financial compliance and internal control principles Proficiency in relevant software tools and technologies Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to interpret legislation Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders What you'll get in return In return for your dedication and contribution, this role offers:
