Reporting to the Manager, Internal Audit your role will be responsible for providing critical advice and administrative support to the Chief Audit Officer for the successful coordination of strategy, policy and planning matters delivered by the Internal Audit Unit.
The successful person You will have demonstrated:
Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and effectively deliver timely, accurate and high quality work for multiple stakeholders.Demonstrated ability and experience in identifying and analysing tasks and problems, drawing accurate conclusions based on evidence and exercising initiative and responsibility to see that goals are achieved.Proven experience and high level skill in building successful relationships with internal and external stakeholders in a complex and changing environment.Demonstrated experience in preparing, monitoring and reporting on audit projects and understanding of the pressures and constraints impacting on delivery.About us The Department of Health is responsible for the overall management of the public health system in Queensland. The Corporate Services Division (CSD) provides a wide-range of enabling and business support services to the department. Focusing on delivering essential corporate services in partnership to enable a high performing Queensland health system, the CSD is responsible for major corporate functions including finance, human resources, legal, communications, audit, risk and assurance, governance, business enhancement and infrastructure delivery.
The Governance, Assurance and Information Management Branch (GAIM) is responsible for delivering strategic, proactive advice in respect of governance, compliance and information management functions for the department including, governance, risk, Internal Audit, privacy, right to information and records management.
