Salary: $134,863 per annum
Employment type: Fixed-term, full-time
Region: Provide support to schools and colleges with effective strategies for improving engagement and attendance, and required flexible learning options to enable access, participation and attainment for all learners, with a specific focus on working with school leaders and key strategic partners to consult and communicate with regards to improved outcomes and implementation of processes, supporting schools in building capacity to maximise student engagement and improved attendance.
This is a Department built entirely for children and young people and their communities.

Duties: Provide support to schools and colleges with effective strategies for improving engagement and attendance.
Work with school leaders and key strategic partners to consult and communicate regarding improved outcomes.
Support schools in building capacity to maximise student engagement and improved attendance.
Period of Appointment: 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2026
Applicants should be aware that for twelve (12) months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill any subsequent full-time or part-time vacancies in accordance with Employment Direction 1.
Hours per fortnight: 73.5 hours per fortnight
Minimum Requirements: Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status – Employment) A registered teacher with full registration within the meaning of the Teachers Registration Act 2000.
Qualifications as established by the Tasmanian Industrial Commission in the Teaching Service (Tasmanian Public Sector) Award.
A current driver's licence.
