Audit Manager / Senior Manager

The managerial role provides support to the Directors in the management of the audit team and clients. Key Responsibilities Perform and manage audits of financial statements ready for Partner review. Supervise and coach staff during course of assignment Perform audits of financial statements ready for Director review. Conduct external audits in accordance with Australian Auditing standards. Liaise with client staff and effectively manage client relationships. Ensure partner review points are timely addressed. Prepare client financial statements in accordance with applicable Australian Accounting Standards. Prepare management letters and other reporting documents. Ensure that client deadlines are met. Prepare and finalise audit clearance meetings Prepare and conduct training courses for staff. Mentor staff to help staff to achieve goals Raise client bills timely and monitor work in progress Conduct assignment reviews for junior staff Person Specification University Degree with Accounting major Qualified member of CA ANZ or CPA (or international equivalent) Minimum of 6 years relevant experience A broad knowledge of accounting and general financial management Ability to achieve audit objectives with minimal supervision Key Measures of Performance Chargeable hours Ability to apply knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards, Australian Auditing Standards and relevant legislation Ability to meet client deadlines and expectations Participation in internal and external activities Your application will include the following questions: Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?
