You will be working for driven and experienced partners who are dedicated to their long-standing clients across NFP and charities, hospitality, aged care, agribusiness, construction, and trade unions.This is an incredible opportunity to work for a very hands-on, supportive and thriving business that stands out in the market for their exceptional service and phenomenal work environment!About the Role:As an Audit Manager, your responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Managing audit jobs assigned to you, typically with a team of 2-4 people which you will supervise for each jobManaging a portfolio of audit clients (with partner involvement), including: scheduling work, contacting clients, assigning work, reviewing work and ensuring jobs are completed on time (to standard)Completing higher risk areas of audit filesPresenting audit findings to clients (Boards and members)Training audit staff on a rotation basis with other senior leadership team membersReviewing client work in progress against budgetTaking on potential new client leads and drafting potential new client proposalsSupervising and coaching staff for the audit projects | Reviewing junior workSkills and Experience:5+ years' experience working as an External Auditor with 2+ years' experience as a Manager/Supervisor/Assistant Manager (preferably in an Australian firm)Technically strong knowledge with Australian Accounting Standards (AASB and IFRS)CPA/CA qualifiedHave access to a car (preferred) for on-site client engagementsSelf-motivated, high attention to detail and excellent leadership skillsExcellent communication skills and ability to maintain (and build) strong client relationshipsBenefits:Incredible promotion opportunities to Directorship and Partnership!Fantastic work culture with a close-knit team, and supportive and stable leadershipAmazing flexibility (WFH options etc.
