A little about the role Reporting directly to the Director of Governance Risk and Compliance, the Audit Lead will enhance organisational values by evaluating and reporting on the effectiveness of internal controls and governance processes across KAA's services nationally.
You will play a critical role in Key Assets risk management framework through an independent internal audit function to provide assurance to the Leadership and Board on the effectiveness of the organisation's policies, processes and systems to meet statutory, safeguarding, quality service and contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Work with all areas of the organisation to ensure that service provision is compliant with relevant requirements by delivering internal audits inclusive of planning, scheduling, research, coordinating, interviews, inspection, reporting and follow-up.Liaise with external providers and coordinate internal stakeholders to perform internal audits.Provide relevant, accurate and concise reports to assist jurisdictional leaders, national support services, executive teams and the board.Maintain an open and easy-to-access file management system for audit plans and provide data insights and accurate reports.About you The successful candidate will come with:
A tertiary or certificate level qualification in Social Work, Human Services, Quality Auditing, Quality Systems Implementation or Compliance.Proven experience in internal audit, quality or compliance related roles within the human services sector.Demonstrated understanding of setting up and implementing management systems and processes in a national organisation.A high standard of report writing, and written and verbal presentation of information.Knowledge of relevant legislation pertaining to Out Of Home Care, Child Protection, NDIS and Family Services will be highly regarded.My Key Assets The health and wellbeing of our people is at the core of our employee and client experience.
