Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Audit Director to lead our audit team in Public Practice. The Audit Director will oversee all aspects of audit engagements, ensuring compliance with regulations, maintaining high-quality standards, and providing exceptional service to our clients. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills, a strong understanding of audit methodologies, and a commitment to excellence.
This is a rare opportunity which genuinely offers progression where you will ultimately end up looking after the whole Audit division. Alongside this, there is also the chance to build, develop and manage a team which you will have complete autonomy for.

Responsibilities: Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to deadlines.Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and providing valuable insights and recommendations.Provide guidance and support to audit team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and professional development.Stay abreast of regulatory changes and industry trends, ensuring compliance and best practices in audit processes and procedures.Review audit workpapers, financial statements, and other relevant documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions and meet client needs.Qualifications: CA or CPA qualifiedMinimum of 10 years of experience in public practice, with a focus on audit services.Proven track record of managing complex audit engagements and delivering high-quality results.Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards, regulations, and accounting principles.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
