Position overview As an IT Audit Senior Consultant, you will assist in the planning, execution, and reporting for a broad range of IT consulting engagements.
Key responsibilities Skilled and experienced IT Audit Senior Consultant with a strong foundation in information systems, risk management, and audit principles.Proven ability to lead and manage IT audit engagements.Skilled at evaluating IT systems, identifying vulnerabilities, and offering actionable recommendations to improve controls, security, and performance.Adept at building client relationships, clearly communicating complex technical audit findings, and delivering insights for business improvement.Experienced in mentoring and reviewing the work of junior team members, fostering their development with constructive feedback and guidance.Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, business operations, and regulatory requirements.Contribute to engagements by providing insights on emerging technologies, risk management, and business resilience.Experience and qualifications Certified Information Systems Auditor, or similar qualification in Business Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field.Strong written and verbal communication skills (and a good sense of humour).Be a team player looking to join an inclusive and collaborative environment.Knowledge of IT standards and frameworks, such as COBIT.Due to the nature of work, applicants must hold Australian Citizenship and currently hold a Baseline security clearance (minimum) or be eligible to obtain one.BellchambersBarrett is more than just your average professional services firm.
