About the Role The Department of Transport and Planning is seeking an organised Audit and Compliance Coordinator to oversee audit and compliance programs for the MR5 tram contract.
This role includes scheduling, planning, and managing the BIS system, ensuring secure access and distribution for the contract.
The Coordinator will analyse audit data, report on operator trends, and collaborate with the Financial Assurance team and Audit Program Manager to maintain high standards in line with MR5's technical and contractual requirements.

Project coordination – Coordinate and oversee the audit and compliance programs within a best practice framework.Strategy – Coordinate the audit and compliance activities associated with the tram MR5 contract and deliver reporting channels to demonstrate outcomes of operator compliance.Operator Compliance – Coordinate the audit and compliance program to ensure the rolling audit schedule for the operator meets the obligations contained in the MR5 tram contract.Advice – Provide operational advice about audit and compliance systems to the Associate Director Franchise Assets to support transport portfolio objectives and respond to emerging and/or complex issues.Continuous Improvement – Contribute to continuous improvement, ensuring that appropriate governance, justification, documentation and record keeping for any changes to the work program are in line with the requirements of the operator agreements and other related documents.Stakeholder Management – Engage and work collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders.Key Selection Criteria DTP is seeking a proactive Audit and Compliance Coordinator to lead audit and compliance activities for the MR5 tram contract.
