We are seeking a skilled and experienced Audio-Visual (AV) Support Engineer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have extensive AV knowledge and experience supporting executives, ensuring seamless AV experiences for high-level meetings and events.
Job Summary:
As an Innovation Center analyst, the focus will be supporting our executive briefingenvironment designed to showcase client products and services to external customers.Support coordinates, diagnoses and troubleshoots room issues and provides technology support services for onsite or remote events.
SIC supports attendees with technical problems and information technology issues involving hardware, software, audio visual, video conferencing or network services related to client connectivity.
Responds promptly to escalations for technical support.
Works proactively to ensure that the client Innovation Center IT components aremonitored and tested prior to each customer event.
Required Skills/Experience:? Experience providing excellent customer service for high profile executivesvisitors? Experience supporting and troubleshooting A/V connectivity issues across a variety oftechnologies to include Google Chromebox for Meetings (CFM), Google Hangouts,Qsys/QSC, Dante and AES67, Crestron, Zoom, WebEx, GoToMeeting and CiscoTelepresence.? Experience with troubleshooting Crestron AV Equipment using Toolbox and XPanel? Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and business requirements in afast-paced, dynamic global environment and apply the new knowledge, understanding, orskill to practical use on the job? Approaches change objectively to treat change and new situations as opportunities forlearning and growth, further learning through trial and error? Takes initiative to work, develop solutions and make technical recommendationsindependently, taking work items through to completion with minimal direct supervision? Communicates appropriately across multiple levels of the internal organization to assessunderstanding of both customers and other IT staff and has the ability to present messagesin various ways to enhance understanding? Ability to leverage attentive listening to understand the needs of the customer and empathizewith them? Bonus Skills/Experience? Experience supporting various operating systems in an enterprise environment includes:macOS, Windows 10, Linux Ubuntu, iOS, and Android? Experience supporting various hardware in an enterprise environment, including laptops(Apple, Dell, and HP), desktops (Apple and HP), corporate-owned mobile devices(IOS/Android) along with standard peripherals, and hardware provisioning/imaging? Experience supporting and troubleshooting corporate and remote user environments withLAN, WAN, and VPN implementations globally.
Knowledge of VLANs, Trunking andconverged network services.? Experience supporting and troubleshooting Active Directory related issues? Experience with endpoint security tools (anti-virus/anti-spam/firewall/patching/two-factorauthentication)? Experience supporting various presentation tools to include Google Slides, MicrosoftPowerPoint, Apple Keynote, Prezi, etc.? Contribute to ensuring content accuracy and updating internal and customer supportdocumentation as needed, own document management and consolidation for clientInnovation Centers? Experience supporting Digital signage platforms and content troubleshooting? Experience managing multiple vendor relationships? Ability to work with other teams to identify and resolve escalations and outages? An Industry Specific Certification: QSC, Crestron, Extron, Avixa, Dante level 2-3 cert.AV industry trends and technologies.
