Our team creatively inspires businesses and each other to leverage technology and help clients seize the opportunity of a seamless world.Your Role:We are seeking passionate and commercially-minded Audio Visual Technicians at all levels, from junior to senior, to join our dynamic production team in a full-time capacity.As part of our mission to deliver seamless corporate event experiences, you will play a vital role in planning, preparing, and executing audio, vision, video, and webcasting solutions across a wide range of events.
Whether you are honing foundational skills or leveraging years of expertise, you will contribute to seamless AV delivery, troubleshoot technical challenges, and collaborate closely with clients and colleagues to exceed expectations.Your day-to-day tasks may include but won't be limited to:Collaborating with clients and event teams to understand and deliver their AV requirements for live events.Preparing, setting up, and operating audio, video, vision, and lighting equipment for corporate events.Managing and troubleshooting AV systems and equipment in production environments.Ensuring seamless integration of AV technologies to enhance event experiences.Providing technical expertise and guidance to clients and colleagues during event preparation and execution.Additionally, for senior technician roles:Overseeing client projects from initial consultation to post-event debrief, ensuring all deliverables meet or exceed expectations.Developing and implementing event-specific AV plans, creating documentation, and assisting in general project management.Acting as clients' primary point of contact during event planning and execution, ensuring clear communication and problem resolution.Your Background:To be considered for this position you will have the following:Experience working in live event environments, with up to 2 years for junior, a minimum of 2 years for a technician, and 5 years for senior technician positions.Tertiary / TAFE qualifications with experience in an AV or live event production discipline (Preferred).Hands-on experience with AV equipment and systems, including setup, operation, and troubleshooting in live event environments.Exceptional customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate and build trust with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.Strong time management skills with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring smooth event execution.Additionally, for senior technician roles:Strong understanding of end-to-end event management, including administrative tasks such as preparing quotes, creating technical drawings, developing run sheets, and job briefs, as well as managing and technically directing teams of technicians to deliver successful events.Proven experience managing corporate clients in high-pressure environments, maintaining professionalism, clear communication, and the ability to deliver exceptional results under tight deadlines.An understanding of multiple disciplines within AV, such as audio, video, lighting, and webcasting, is highly advantageous.What do you get in return?Exposure to leading-edge AV technologies in the industry!Our renowned Training and Development Program, including membership with the world's leading Audio Visual education provider- AVIXA.
