Au Management Accountant (Onsite, Dayshift)

Dayshift High Competitive Salary Unlimited Growth Potential Roles And Responsibilities Financial Reporting, Forecasting and Analysis Reviewing Month end accounting including reconciliations and journals Preparation of monthly management reports tracking financial performance against budget Variance Analysis around actual results compared to the budget and forecasts for each profit and cost centre Creating financial statements for internal and external company requirements Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are accurate, timely and complete Ensure the Chart of Accounts and Cost Centre Hierarchy allows for adequate budget ownership and expenditure controls. Setting up financial reporting for new businesses, functions, and acquisitions in line with the Client framework Working with the Commercial Team to forecast specific QBCC turnover limits Assist budget owners in the preparation of the annual operational, capital expenditure & revenue budgets consistent with long term business strategies. Enact regular and timely reforecasting of budgets in consultation with key stakeholders Statutory Law and Financial Regulations Compliance Supporting auditing projects Prepare accounts and records for Annual Audit and Year End Reporting packs Conduct risk assessment and advise on ways to minimize risk Enact relevant external audit recommendations in association with the Financial Controller Calculating and Reporting on Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC) obligations Working with the Financial controller on technical accounting matters and the associated implications for the company Working with the Financial controller to ensure timely delivery of financial information and compliance with all banking covenants Staying current with regulatory environment changes Validating & review of ATO Compliance and lodgments. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance CPA or CA qualification Previous audit experience Australian accounting experience Work Setup Onsite - Philexcel, Clark Monday-Friday, 6am to 3pm #J-18808-Ljbffr
